Volunteering at Olive Branch

Volunteering at Olive Branch Counselling can be a really rewarding and valuable experience - there's more ways of doing it than you might think.

You do not have to have a formal qualification to be considered as a volunteer, all offers of help are gratefully received.

Are you an experienced counsellor?

We are always looking to expand our service, both in the number of people we are able to see, and within a growing number of disciplines. Are you an experienced or specialised counsellor from whom our service could benefit? If so, we'd love to hear from you; please reach out to us at volunteer@olivebranch.charity.

Are you a student counsellor?

We offer a safe and supportive space to student counsellors so that they may learn and grow while servicing the growing number of users within our charity. If you are a learning coordinator, or a student yourself looking for a placement, or you just want to help, please reach out to us at volunteer@olivebranch.charity.

Volunteer at our events

We have a growing number of events throughout the year to choose from. Please reach out to our supporter relations team who can help you decide when you can help: supporterrelations@olivebranch.charity.

Do you have a service or skill we could benefit from?

Running a charity requires a lot of time and effort from a lot of different people, and we're always grateful for any help that can keep us functioning. If you have a skill or service we can benefit from, please get in touch: icanhelp@olivebranch.charity.

Put yourself forward to be a Trustee

Becoming a trustee of a charity can be a rewarding and fulfilling experience. As a trustee, you have the opportunity to make a positive impact on a cause that you are passionate about. Trustees are responsible for overseeing the management and direction of the charity, ensuring that it operates legally and ethically, and that its resources are used effectively to achieve its objectives. This involves working closely with other trustees, staff, and volunteers to develop and implement strategies, manage finances, and monitor progress towards the charity's goals.

Being a trustee can be challenging at times, but it offers a unique opportunity to use your skills and experience to contribute to a worthy cause and make a real difference. If this is something you would be interested in pursuing at Olive Branch, please get in touch: icanhelp@olivebranch.charity.
